PureCircle USA, Florham Park, NJ, has added five key people to its U.S. operations: Sidd Purkayastha, technical director; Jason Hecker, director of marketing; Mike Wolff, sales director; Jacqueline Armstrong, East Coast sales director; and Mauricio Bacigaluppo, Latin America sales director. Dr. Purkayastha has more than 20 years of experience in the sweetener industry; Mr. Hecker previously worked with Kraft Foods; Mr. Wolff previously served as vice president of sales and new product development at Tampico Beverages; and Ms. Armstrong most recently worked at Corn Products International. Mr. Bacigaluppo will be responsible for establishing a sales presence for PureCircle in Latin America. He previously worked in sales and business development for Tate & Lyle, Johnson & Johnson, N­utrinova and Hoechst in Latin America.
